Friendly Greetings Internet Citizens!  My name is Ms. Olguin, and this is my tiny space in the World Wide Web.  The site is currently under construction, but I just wanted to drop a few lines to let you know some of what is in store for the 2011-2012 school year. 

The majority of my summer was spent networking with Technology Teachers from around the globe, and I am so happy to be able to share with your children some of the things I have come across this summer.  To start, the middle school students will be very involved with an Early STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program called FIRST.  If you haven’t already heard, SJS will be participating in the FIRST Lego League thanks to a grant from Northwest Vista College.  Stay tuned for info, and let’s have an excellent school year!
